First off let me say,
with a few exceptions, you won’t find photos of living people
in these albums.
I will post photos of people that are in the public arena, people that are no longer
alive, in case someone needs it for genealogical purposes, and in a few cases photos
that are so old that no one will know who they are but I find the photo interesting.
If you find a photo these albums that you want removed for any reason please let
me know.
For the most part photos will be placed in a photo album so it will speed up download
time. You only have to wait for photos you want to see. Don’t I take good care
of the people that visit my site?

When you want to return here, simply close the albums’s page.
This is the PHOTO PLACE.
Here you will find photos of all kinds of things that catch my interest including
“OLD” photos for genealogy purposes. The photos that I take are not copyrighted
. However, some of the “OLD” photos may be. Please use judgment with their use.
I hope you enjoy my photos

Photos of People
To make it easier to find what you are looking for I’m going to place the photos
of people in different albums. For the time being it will be simply be listed as
the Jones, Leight and Ecker branches of the family
The Chandler Family Photo Album
The Chandler Family Photo Album which was started about 1900 by Frank Linn and Elsie
Jane (Danson) Chandler. The album it’s self is also a music box and, according to
the sticker on it ( I don’t have the nerve to wind it), it plays “Old Folks At Home”.
The album cost $3.25 in 1900.
Photos of Interesting Buildings
Here are some interesting buildings for you to look at. The Ariel Store isn’t far
from where D. B. Cooper jumped from the airplane in Nov. 1971. They have a D. B.
Cooper day celebration every year. An interesting place to visit if you get out
that way.
Landscape Photos
I love to travel and have taken a lot of photos. I will share some of them here
from time to time. The water falls in the photos in the attached photo album are
along the old highway from Portland, Oregon to Hood River, Oregon. They aren’t to
far from Portland.
Miscellaneous Other Photos
The Cross at Groom, Texas is a very nice place to stop. It is right on Interstate
40 in Texas. You will find a lot of photos of it here. The statues are life size
and the trucks in the photo of the Big Cross are real trucks. That gives you an
idea of how big it is. You can see it from 20 miles away.
Boot Hill in Tombstone, Arizona is another very interesting place.
